Good size, good texture, it does wear down after awhile if you have really big dogs. But my dogs love this bed. It does get REALLY hot during the summer though so I just slip it around so the other side is on the bottom and my dogs don't seem to mind as long as they're not hot and on the floor.
My 3.5 year old black lab loves the bed. Shadow is 121.6 Lbs and this jumbo size fits her perfectly. I put her blanket on top of this new bed to make her feel comfortable (Scent). The bed had no bad odors but dogs sure can sniff sniff. This bed is well made at a really good price. The bed came very nicely packaged.
